I came out broken.
It's not that the education system forgets only some children, though. It's designed to ignore everyone and raise up thoughtless sheeple. That's what politicians are, at best.
I didn't look out for myself and believe in myself enough to realise that the education system wasn't interested in me or my future, and that rebellion was the best option — the only option for me to be myself and get the most out of my life.
The politicians talk about "diversity" and "inclusion" but this is absurdly shallow.
They are reactive, not proactive. When they say "diversity and inclusion", they don't mean progress, they mean "please don't be homophobic".
They are actually incapable of progress because they lack the intelligence or the imagination to offer it. They're also too arrogant and self-absorbed to reach out to people who could tell them what progress would look like.
This is what you get when politics is an open door for the power-seeking and is not instructed by law to involve those who aren't power-seeking and wouldn't otherwise involve themselves with politics.
You get, as Mussolini said, "boring masturbation". He was right about that. And did politicians learn from history and stop the boring masturbation? No, they did not. Why would they? There is no real incentive.
They'll keep playing musical chairs, oblivious.
The best political opinion you can get is the opinion of someone who is so absorbed in non-political stuff that they wouldn't even vote.
